Vintage U.S. M6 Bayonet Imperial M1 Garand + Sheath

Description

Vietnam Era M6 Bayonet for the M1 Garand Rifle.  Bayonet measures 11-3/8" overall with a blade length of 6-1/2". US M6 IMPERIAL stamped on top of cross-guard area.  Right side of blade shows some pitting in the center area., blade has a gray patina with some light wear, use.  Grips/Handle looks good, but there is some green paint in crevices and on grips. Press-stud ejector not working, no pressure.  Probably needs spring. The scabbard is marked, "USM8A1 V.P.CO." End of scabbard end point is chipped off.
