Vintage Brass Ship's Captain's Nautical Steering Wheel with Compass Desk Piece

I see no brand name, not sure of age.
Would be nice if brass cleaned up.
The compass seems to work fine. Wood base for display.
Brass seen better days, needs good cleaning and shine.
On one part on wheel, looks like a repair or something? Little glue there. Maybe a piece gone from middle of wheel? Not sure.
Items is about 15" tall, wheel about 8" wide.
Still a cool piece for Nautical collectors and fans.
