Vintage Antique RARE Yacht Steering Wheel Boat Ship's Wheel Authentic 17"

Description

This yacht steering wheel is a rare and wonderful find!   It is made of mahogany wood with cast brass and very nice condition bright work in nickel.   As shown, cast into the brass is the name Baby Cheryl, with a photo in the nickel frame above it.  As you can see from the photos, this wheel is very high quality made and just an over the top piece of maritime past.  There is some light wear on the handles, as shown and on the end caps on the handles.  Overall though the condition and the quality are above average.

We do not know the history of this wheel, we suspect is was specially ordered to commemorate the birth or possibly the end of life for their special baby.
