    Vintage 1890-1920 Saltzmann Bros. Beer Bottle - Oil City, PA - GREAT SHAPE!
    ITEM DESCRIPTION:
    This groovy item is a 12.5-ounce beer bottle from the Saltzmann Brothers Brewery of Oil City, Pennsylvania. The bottle is in great shape with very little wear. According to the website oldbreweries.com, the brewery was in existence from 1890 to 1920 - making this bottle over 100 years old. The bottle has has embossed printing that reads “Saltzmann Bros. Brewers – Oil City
    , Pa.” Embossed at the base of the bottle is "Contents 12-1/2 Fluid Ounces." Note that there is a wavy line embossed on the script - don't confuse that for a crack. With a little more cleaning, this bottle will look even better than the accompanying photos.
