    Vintage hard to find WESTMORELAND GLASS Rooster HEN ON NEST WHITE MILK Slag GLASS With SPLIT TAIL. Is in VGC. Condition is Excellent "Used".

    I believe it is from the 1950's.
    This is a most lovely Westmoreland Rooster Hen on Nest covered dish . It looks to be an absolutely perfect condition no chips, cracks or crazing than I can see .
    This most lovely nesting Rooster Hen Is about 5 inches high and 7 in Long .
    The inside of the bottom dish has the " W " Hallmark for Westmoreland . Pack for shipping in box weighs approximately 2 lb .

    The Westmoreland Glass Company was founded in 1889 when a group of men purchased the Specialty Glass Company located in East Liverpool, Ohio, and moved it to Grapeville, Pennsylvania. Grapeville was chosen as the location of the factory because the property had a large source of natural gas.
