Shockwave 26 Proboat ~ 26" ~Untested in water (does run) read info

Please read closely I know it is hard for some of you.. I live with all guys I KNOW how you are!
This is
Preowned! &
was found abandoned in an attic property on cape cod.
What you see is how we found.
My son placed a battery in it from his personal RC stuff
& fresh batteries into the controller.
(It will not have any batteries with sale).
My son dry ran on bench
briefly
& he trimmed out the rudder. He did not run too long because no water cooling available.  He did not want to bring to local river running which is running too fast these days! He did not want to lose boat. Most ponds all frozen in NH currently.   He said he thinks the Velcro to battery
tie
down is not there & the 10 cent connector to battery needs changing as he noticed a bad connection that he had to jiggle...  Prop spun Fwd & Rev & the rudder went both ways..  Not ever owning one of these we really don't know much more about it...
Yes it is an older version. please don't be comparing to others..   Todays
version
of this is HUGE money and yes the they have better technology so I suggest you buy that instead.

assessment
is it is used, looks decent in color not many marks, nose shows little chip.  He also said if it doesn't sell he would love to use it this summer.
WE DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ELSE about this boat.. IF you have no experience in RC repairs or prior RC ownership please don't buy it.  SELLING AS IS UNTESTED in WATER
