It measures approx. 34 x 36 inches
(due to manufacturing, some pads may be slightly smaller or larger 1/2"-1" max)
It is extra thick, quilted and has blue waterproof backing.
Absorbent Layer - 8oz. Soaker
Most people are concerned over the barrier. They think it is rubber or that they may be allergic like some people are to latex gloves. The barrier is made from
PVC
and there is also no BPAs. Unlike some of the barriers from China, there are no heavy metals. The fabric used as backing for the vinyl is 100% polyester knit. Unlike some of the butyl rubber barriers from the 90's, I don't know of any situations where people have been allergic to these pads. The part that touches the body is Twill 50/50 blend polyester and cotton.
