on a
SPLIT RIB BASE - CANDY DISH / TRINKET BOX / COVERED BOWL
.
It has no chips, cracks or repairs.
It measures approximately 4 1/4 inches in height, 5 1/2 inches in length and is 4 1/2 inches wide.  It was made by the now defunct
Summit Art Glass Company
, who purchased the mold from the
McKee Glass Company
when that company closed.
The Kemple Glass Company, the Imperial Glass Company and the L.G. Wright Glass Company also used the mold for the lid at one time.
Since each marbled slag glass has its own unique pattern, no one else will have one exactly like yours. This would make a wonderful addition to anyone's art glass collection and an excellent gift or birthday present for any horse lover.
