This is one of my all time favorite Disney collectibles. And it's really
RARE
and hard to find! Time for this cute Cinderella trio from Schmid to get some showcased love -- I've had them in storage pretty much since I bought them many years ago. They need to be on display in your home!
What I love is that you can use them as the bookends they were designed to be, or (as I tried to show in the photos) you can set them up in all different positions as collectibles without holding books and even on separate shelves. Each piece holds it's own separately as well as collectively.
They are both hand painted and sometimes when you get hand-painted pieces the work can be sloppy. But these two pieces are just beautifully done, from every angle of the sculpt, to the terrific hand painting design work. The colors are nice and vibrant too - especially on Lucifer.
And how cute is it that they even included Jaq and Gus 's mouse hole. They might have to scoot fast - Lucifer looks hungry! ;)
Since they are designed as book ends, both pieces are really substantial -- nice and weighty. (You could even use Lucifer as a paperweight since he's a bit chubby. Don't tell him I said that, lol.)
Both bookends are in very nice condition. The Cinderella box has minor wear and there is some bubbling on the padding underneath the Jaq and Gus bookend, but we forgive them because this set is at least 20 years old. (Probably more -- can't remember what year I bought them.)
