Pair of Antique Carved Wood Zitan? Rosewood? Chinese Throne Chairs Dragon Motif

You are bidding on a pair of antique Chinese intricately carved wooden throne chairs with a dragon motif.  One chair is marked "XI" underneath the back (see photo) that may be a signature.  The chairs are made of a hard, heavy wood.  We are not sure if it is zitan or rosewood.  One chair measures approximately 38" tall, 18 1/2" in length and 23" wide.  The other measures approximately 38" tall, 18 1/2" in length and 24" wide.  The chairs are in good antique condition and have been restored.  One chair has a split seat (see photo) and there is a crack in the wood on the back apron of the other chair  (see photo).  Please see photos for more information regarding condition.  This is a very nice pair of intricately carved wooden antique Chinese throne chairs with a dragon motif.
