Hand Carved 19th C. Chinese Rosewood Dragon Chair.This chair just recently was acquired from an estate that had it in the family for over three generations. The chair is very heavy and features dragon and characters with leaves trees and foliage surrounding them on the back rest. The two front legs are dragon claws on the bottom rising up to Dragon heads with beads attaching to the chair surface. The hand carved back rest was hand carved it is in excellent condition with the exception of somewhere on the top part of the chair (see pics).Custom carvings are abound on every aspect of this chair, it’s a must see!
