Federal Glass Madrid Pattern Salad Serving Bowl Clear Depression Glass-8-1/4"

Description

Depression Glass Shallow Salad Serving Bowl by Federal Glass Company in the Madrid Clear Pattern.  This Heavy Bowl has a Profusion of Intricate and Delicate Scrolls and Florals along with a Scalloped Outer Rim - a Great Example of Period Depression Glass.  This Pattern was Produced by Federal Glass between 1932 and 1939 - at which time the Company went Bankrupt.  The Company and their Molds were Purchased by Indiana Glass who Continued Production of this Pattern until the 1980s.  Since there are no Markings - the Production Date of this Piece is Unknown.  .
This Bowl is in Good Condition with Minimal Scratches and a Small Chip (Photo #2 - far Left Corner).
