CONDITION EXCELLENT mint in box never displayed ISSUED 2001 SIZE 4 1/2” LONG BY 2” TALL MAKER OLSZEWSKI STORY-TIME WALT DISNEY BOX YES WITH REGISTRATION CARD AND COA AVAILABILITY LIMITED EDITION RETIRED 3000 ONLY This is a limited edition Story-Time figurine by famed miniaturist Robert Olszewski. Issued in 2001 and limited to only 3000, this is # OSDC 26 from the Disney Showcase Collection. TORN DRESS depicts the scene in the Disney animated Classic Cinderella w the stepsisters and evil Stepmother thwart Cinderella’s hopes to attend the ball. As Anastasia & Drizella prance off to the ball, they leave behind poor Cinderella in her ruined ball gown. Entirely handpainted and sculpted in pewter, and bronze, this masterpiece in miniature is incredible. Just look at the details. As with all of his miniatures, you have to really study it to get the real sense of how much care and research goes into each mini figure. From the accuracy of the colors and details of the wicked stepsisters’ dresses to the expressions on each of the characters faces, no detail has been overlooked. You can even see teeny tiny beads on the tile floor from the necklace that Drizella ripped from around Cinderella’s neck! This is an excellent way to showcase an entire scene while purchasing just one piece. Note: Robert Olszewski continued his collaboration with Walt Disney even after he ended his relationship with Goebel in 1994. Harmony Ball and Olszewski Studios distributed the STORY-TIME COLLECTION until 2006 when production ceased. As each year passes these highly desirable miniatures become more difficult to find
