DELIGHTFUL 54 pc Depression Glass Table & Serving Ware
Madrid Pattern, Amber, Federal & a few Vintage “76”.
This listing is for a 54-piece set of Depression glass dinnerware including 3 pieces of serve ware. The pattern is Madrid and the color is amber and has the effect of appearing golden.
34 pieces are the original Federal Glass (1932-1939) and 20 pieces are the also vintage “76” Recollection series, Federal’s last production before selling molds to Indiana Glass. While there are
very
slight differences of color and weight between the 2 production runs, they are very minor and look beautiful together. Color looks lighter when dishes photographed upright.
This set belonged to a family member whom I know collected a variety of Depression Glass with great enjoyment. There are enough pieces to easily add to with the same pattern and color or
mix it up
as Madrid pattern comes in several colors.  Makings of a beautiful table setting!
Produced to be low-end dinnerware, there are innate, expected imperfections. Still most pieces seem to be in amazing shape with very minimal to none usage or wear. I checked very closely each piece and found 2 very,very small, minor fleabites, one on a dinner plate, one on luncheon plate.
