Classic Wilcox Crittenden Ship's Wheel with Drum
worthy of deployment to a vintage boat restoration.
Wood Drum with copper sheath for rudder cabling is 5" Diameter by 4.5" Depth. Drum appears to have some old expected typical tight age checks / cracks.
Wheel marked with maker's logo and is in remarkably good condition noting only a couple of expected typical tight age checks / cracks to one of the wood grips, unnoticeable in photos but worth noting. Grey paint over steel looks original to this wheel, noting some minor paint wear / loss, but no rust observed.
20" Diameter wheel for a 1" Diameter shaft; Weight: 9#.
