    Description

    A very nice, Antique Chinese Silk Embroidered Scroll. Silk borders laid on paper backing. Hand embroidered peacock amongst flowers, birds and butterflies. I believe it to be Qing Dynasty 17-18th century. One small red seal mark to back side as shown picture # 10, right side. No other markings. Large size measuring approx. 22 inches (55.88cm) wide x 76 inches (193cm) long. This is delicate and somewhat fragile. Heavy fading throughout most likely caused from light exposure and age. Rips and tears throughout. I tried to get photos showing the damages. Missing Wood ends to each side of the roll. Very high quality embroidery. Buyer pays shipping.
