    Description

For bid is an original, hand-colored & framed circa 1920's Hawaiian photograph of a building identified on the back as the "Waiola Tea Room in Manoa Valley / Honolulu, T. H."  This tea room, AKA Waioli or Wai'Oli Tea Room originally operated from 1922 to 2014.  This photograph is an early image of the building and you can see a few people seated at taples at the center of the photo.  Photo shows a panoramic view of the building with a giant tree covering much of the building from sign.  A palm tree of some kind looms large in the left area of the photo.  The Oahu mountains are viaible in the distance.  Photo was hand-tinted and you can still see the color.  It's still in an old wooden frame with antique brown paper still attached to the back.
Frame measures about 11 3/4 inches wide by just over 7 inches tall.
GREAT piece of Territory of Hawaii history from "The Old Days" in Hawaii.
