  • Condition: Antique original - " BALL & CLAW hilt DAGGER - made in Japan ,..circa mid 1960s - - these were a copy of the original German WWI / WWII ERA ball and claw hilted fighting knives ,...the Japanese version was slightly more diminutive in size and weight ) -It sports a 6" blade -The over all length is about 10" when measured in the sheath -- it looks unissued - never used - never sharpened ( except by the factory )!-This is the last of a group that was discovered in the basement of a long defunct hardware store - - these were also purchased at the army base PX / post exchange & carried by soldiers in Viet Nam as a back up novelty knife - Don't pass it up - it's near mint ,.. unused - ( most of these were played with and thrown by teenagers playing in the back yards of America - mint examples are few and far in between !
