Offered here at NO RESERVE is a solid brass ship's wheel hub from an antique ship's helm. The hub measures 3 5/8 inches in diameter and 2 1/8 inches thick. It has openings to accommodate 6 wooden ship's wheel spokes. The openings measure approximately 1 inch square. To these ends the hub comes apart, held by six brass machine screws. The hub has a 1 inch interior diameter opening with keyway. It exhibits hand-made construction. Overall excellent original. Very heavy.
