    Antique William Brownfield Bass Ale Advertising Bar Pitcher Jug
    An unusual BASS ale advertising bar jug made by William Brownfield of Cobridge, Staffordshire, in business 1850-1891.
    Measures 5 7/8" tall x 5" wide base x 6" wide base to handle. There is a nick on the inside rim near the spout where
    a pewter or silver plated lid would have been attached at one time as you can see the molded holes around the top where it would have been attached to the pitcher/jug.
    Typical wear from age and use.
    Stamped/Impressed mark on the bottom Brownfield Bass and the number 24.
