    Description

    Antique Spouted German Salt Glaze Stoneware Beer Pitcher.
    Large pitcher with approximate 14-1/2" height x 7" diameter (8-3/4" width including handle).
    Pitcher is multi-color including blue and brown with hand incising.
    It is believed to be CA. 1895 - 1900.
    Wonderful condition with professional "invisible" handle repair.
    I found what appears to be two small imperfections, one small chip on a rooster
    and one small chip/area without paint on a fox as shown in the last two pictures.
    These are barely noticeable but I wanted to point them out.
    Although I could not confirm maker (no maker's mark found), it appears to be the work of Reinhold Hanke.
    On the bottom/base of pitcher is an impressed number 567. It may have originally had a lid.
