Authentic Mahogany, Salvaged, Yacht Ships Wheel
This is a Trojan Wooden Helm Wheel - circa 1960's. It is in excellent condition and  has a beautiful preserved center hub name plate.
The wood shows original finish and patina. This style of wheel was used on several types of wooden boats manufactured by  Trojan.  The 19.5" size would have been found on the Sea Breeze, , or on the top bridge of the Trojan Tri Level.
All joints are tight, this wheel is ready for your boat or restoration project.
This exceptionally sturdy 19.5"wheel is a classic ring-turned
6-spoke design with dowel-pin construction and featuring a beautiful preserved
solid cast 3" hub, with Trojan logo.
Outstanding original condition with a nice surface and aged patina and a
.75
inch center hole and key way.
Measures 19.5 inches in diameter from spoke to spoke.
Purchased from an estate sale in Elmhurst Illinois, The boat it came from, spent its entire life cruising Lake Michigan.
