Antique salvaged Helm Wheel Ship wheel 24" Mahogany Helms wheel

Description

This is a 24" Wooden Helm Wheel - circa 1960's.
It is in excellent condition and  has a beautiful preserved original finish.
This wheel came from a boat, that was on  Puget Sound.
This exceptionally sturdy 24"wheel is a classic ring-turned
6-spoke design and dowel-pin construction and featuring a beautiful preserved
solid cast 4" hub, with twin maple inlays.
Outstanding original condition with a clean surface and aged patina,
Will fit a, 1" to 3/4" shaft, currently set with a 3/4" adapter.
Cap nut included
Measures 24 inches in diameter from spoke to spoke.
This wheel came from an Estate sale in , Port Orchard,
Washington
.

All of my wheels are of wood dowel construction.  There are many reproductions out there for decoration only,  many sellers claim they are real ship wheels, but they are not.
