Antique Chinese Official’s Arm Chair with back splat, bent arms and back,  and
bubugao
“step higher” stretchers
. The official’s chair has stepped up stretchers, one higher than the other, showing the superior status of the seated person. Fine collector’s piece. Qing Dynasty. Circa: 1850.
