Up for auction at the Grand Antique Mall, located in Cincinnati, Ohio is an
Antique Chinese Official’s Arm Chair with back splat, bent arms and back,  and
bubugao
“step higher” stretchers
. This key attribute to the official’s chair, stepped up stretchers with one higher than the other, shows the superior status of the seated person. Fine collector’s piece. Qing Dynasty. Circa: 1850.
