This Antique Chinese Arm Chairs is made in Ming style. Traditional Chinese design motif of "Lotus" was hand painted on the back splat of the chair. Both the arms and the back splat of the chair are crafted with deep curves. The front opening underneath the seat is uniquely crafted in "arch" shape. The chair is handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and tenon structure, which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Circa early of 19th century. Original Wear and Patina. Excellent and solid condition. Made from Elm with beautiful wood grain, the chair is very solid and have been kept in excellent condition.
