Description
A stately mid-19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) Lacquered bamboo chair.
In excellent condition with age appropriate wear. We are uncertain of the detailed history of this piece but it may have been re-lacquered in the 20th century.
A very solid piece it measures 36 3/4 inches tall, 21 1/2 inches wide and 17 inches deep. the seat is 21 inches high and the arms are 29 3/4 inches from the floor.
Lovely wear at the ends of the arms from generations of use.
