Antique Chinese Coffee Table 55 inch Long 11 inch tall.
This very low 4 drawer table would be more correctly originally be referred to as a Kang table, but now most people would use this as a coffee table.
The table has a flush panel top that is flush with the case on all sides. It is a very simple design with 4 drawers that mostly fill the entire front. The drawers have flat fronts that are flush with the framework.
The table has short legs that have carved horse-hoof shaped feet.
Each end of the table has a flat recessed panel and the back has 2 recessed panels. As shown in the photos you can see some shrinkage cracks on the end panels.
The front top and sides of the cabinet are finished in a very dark brown lacquer. The back is not as finished.  As is typical, the original hardware has been replaced with nice drop pulls.
