General Information:
Please Note: This kit is for the GM HEI distributor. Not every vehicle in the year/model/engine fitment chart will have an HEI distributor and switching an engine from standard to HEI is a common enough performance swap. An easy way to identify an HEI distributor is the coil is inside the cap and the HEI distributor does not have contact points.
This kit is for the 4-Pin Module.
The 4-pin module was used on conventional carbureted engines with vacuum and centrifugal timing advance.
If you are unsure about your distributor please take a look at yours compared to details in the photograph above.
Additional Note: Some HEI distributors had a screw down cap mounting instead of the normal push/turn clamp mounting. This kit is for push/turn clamp cap distributor.
