42ASW 6329 stamped VINTAGE Bayonet Knife w/ Scabbard estate find

Great find from a local estate sale. Hope I am calling it the right thing. It is approx 16" total length. Please see pictures for best description because I do NOT know if it is missing anything or not.it is metal with leather like top. There are marks, scratches, scuffs , discolored areas and some surface rust spots. I see markings on one side that looks like 42ASW and on the other side it looks like 6329 of the knife. the holder
numbers are  very faint on there but what i can see it looks like 720 or 120 maybe.
