This 2023 5 cent  coin is
minted in brilliant uncirculated finish.  This coin is taken from the 2023 special wrap roll. This coin has the date 2023 on the reverse and of course the beaver image.  It is 21.21 mm in diameter and weighs 3.95 grams. The coin is minted of three ply nickel finish plated steel.  Mintage of these first  is only 7,000.  Your coin will be protected in a 2 x 2 cardboard holder.  NO CASE OR CERTIFICATE INCLUDED.
Since 2023 is focused on commemorating the reign of Queen Elizabeth II (1952-2022), the Mint did
not
issue any 2023-dated Canadian circulation coins featuring both the traditional reverse designs and an obverse featuring Queen Elizabeth II. Instead, they produced a
collector’s edition
of these annual issues, and the nickel in this listing is from one of those rolls.
The 2023 Collector’s Edition Special Wrap Roll Collection contains
non-circulation
