Purchased from estate sale and was told belonged to the same person. Sorry, I don't have his name and  was told he's deceased.
Front of Helmet is "WOFD
West Orange New Jersey
CAPTAIN" on shield which appears to be hardened leather.
Helmet is made of a very hard material with cracks/flaking paint/tape. View photos.
Helmet measures approximately 14 1/4" long X 11 1/2" wide.
Cap measures approximately 10" long X 7" wide.
Well used items and helmet shows a lot of wear - View all photos carefully.
Dress uniform cap has a Double Bugle pin on the front and a metal flexible band connected with 2 buttons marked F.D. Needs cleaning.
