Two (2) Beautiful Antique Vintage Chinese Garden Drum Seats inlaid with Mother of Pearl (MOP) Birds Flowers Lotus Blossoms Pearls Bamboo and Peacocks/Birds of Paradise.
Each drum seat is similar in overall design and shape, but have different mother of pearl designs. Possibly a pair of “marriage” garden seats.
DIMENSIONS: each seat measures about 18” high and 16” inches wide at widest part. Weight is about 15 pounds each.
CONDITION: VINTAGE Beautiful decorative furniture artwork. . Some few missing mother of pearl pieces, wood seam expansion, hairline cracking along some of the old wood seam lines from age and dry environment, couple small repairs, some blemishes and surface scratches, and probably some dust in crevices, wear to bottom of stool where wood meets the floor, might also be some finger prints on the polish and some areas that better than other areas due to non uniform aging and areas where polish is darker than other areas. Overall structurally very sound and very sturdy in my opinion. Not meant for standing on them, or carrying heavy weight (e.g. a marble statue) - please see pictures in photo gallery for detailed close up views. PHOTOS ARE PART OF ITEM DESCRIPTION.
