19th Century Ship's Wheel Complete with Pedestal and Drum.

Description

A wonderful 19th Century ship's wheel which is rarely found complete with the original pedestal and drum. The wheel is 50" diameter, tip of spoke to spoke. Mounted on the pedestal the piece stands 58" high. It was acquired in the late 1960's by my family from a New York maritime antique dealer and shipped to Martha's Vineyard. It is now in storage in Newton, MA along with my expansive collection of nautical antiques.
The piece is in excellent condition with a beautiful aged patina. It is in museum quality condition.
