    Description

    Photo I just removed from US Army Soldier's 1937-38 Hawaii Photo Album. He was stationed at Schofield Barracks and with the Third Engineers.  As usual his album was a mix of photos he bought at the Schofield Photo Studio and/or tourist shops and snapshots he took.
    The Schofield Photo Studio sold blank albums, took soldiers portraits and sold sets and single photos.  From one of their photo envelopes: "Just as History is the biography of Humanity, so an Album is the Biography of the Individual....  Write the pages of your Army History, from The Schofield Studios Walls.   You will Find 4,000 Island Views and Military Scenes There."
    Another photo studio just off base advertised 10,000 Military and Hawaii photos.
    If anything written on back I will have a pic of back.
